Established in 1977, ecp design is a leading British ceramic company supplying upmarket gift shops,
galleries and other retailers both in the UK and overseas.
We also design exclusive ranges for larger customers including Laura Ashley, the National Trust and the Royal Academy.
We are based in the village of Wickwar between Gloucester and Bristol under the Cotswold’s
escarpment. We are close to the M4 junction 18 and M5 junction 14 - see the
map
for how to find us.
Factory Shop
The shop is open to the public from 9 am to 4 pm every Monday to Friday.

Mugs, jugs, tableware, lamp bases, children’s items and bathroom accessories.
Studio
The pottery has a hand painting area where Caroline Zoob’s Apple Picking and other ranges are hand
painted. The hand decorating is highly skilled using tiny sponges and fine sable brushes.
Our in-house design team is always busy designing and developing new products.
Designers
ecp design works with well known designers including – Brixton Pottery, Carole Pearson,
Caroline Zoob, Deliverance County, Martin Wiscombe, Melin Tregwynt, Tyrrell Katz and Vanessa Arbuthnott.
Products
ecp design creates products in a wide range of materials – hand thrown terra cotta, hand decorated
creamware and transfer printed creamware, stoneware and bone china. In 2007 we introduced tins and
enamelware.
